Hello! Can you believe its December already?! Its finally started to cool down a little bit in Bangalore so we now have a semblence of winter weather. December also means the start of holiday season and everywhere you look is decorated to the nines. Makes you feel like doing something holiday like at home as well right? Since I spend an immeasurable amount of time pinning DIY decor pins on Pinterest I am now obviously an expert in decorating for the holidays. Just kidding. Not the Pinterest part, but the expert part. But I have put together a list of some really easy to do, cute holiday decor ideas. Even if you aren’t especially crafty (like me) you will still be able to pull these off. And since time isn’t something I have a lot of these days, I made sure to find ones that don’t take long to do. Happy decorating!
I fell in love with these DIY teal and gold leaf ornaments by the The Sweetest Occasion. So simple and so pretty! If you can’t find ornaments that fit the colour scheme you have in mind these would be the perfect way to go.I would just hang them somewhere year round. They are so pretty!
If you don’t want a traditional tree or any tree at all, and yet don’t want to feel left out this can be the perfect Christmas tree for you. This is actually available for sale here, but you could literally make this at home with a few sticks, some rope and string lights.
This has to be the coolest bouquet I have seen. This is one of the many porch decoration ideas listed on the God Father Style.
Confetti filled balloons. Yes please! These are for sale here, but again super easy to do on your own. If you’re having a holiday party then these are perfect. Even if you have time to do one decor related thing for your party, do these! Will be an amazing conversation starter too.
Love them or hate them, emojis are here to stay. So why not make some emoji ornaments for your tree? These simple to make DIY emoji ornaments by Studio DIY! are just the perfect fun thing to make with your friends and family during the holidays.
Another rustic yet super chic thing to add to add your holiday decor this is pine cone garland again covered with gold foil by The Sweetest Occasion. I love this!
Another brilliant yet extremely simple DIY are these tiny trees created from wine bottle corks and pieces cut from a leafy garland by Family Chic. You could even take it up a notch and use rosemary instead for the plant part and make it look and smell even better!
Last but not the least I leave you with these adorable snowman marshmallows by I Am A Food Blog. If you’re anything like me then winter and holidays equate to guilt free drinking of hot cocoa or hot chocolate. And these marshmallows will just take that cherished mug of hot chocolate in the cold mornings to all new levels of bliss. I can almost picture it in my mind!
