Lately in all my posts I seem to be crying about the monsoons here in Mumbai. I actually love the rains. When I woke up today I pretty much decided that this would be the end of my dreary shabby outfits. After I got ready and left the house for a meeting I realised that white is probably not the best option to wear during the rainy season.
I even took out my sequin golden shoes, which had been tucked away and kept at the back of my shoe rack. If you read some of our earlier post it is quite clear that Anisha and I are both quite obsessed with embroidery. Well, frankly speaking it was her black dress that got me hooked.
I am really not a great model and as luck would have it my hair seems to be having a mind of its own today.
So instead of editing and putting my best pictures I have decided to put in pictures that can best tell you how my ootd shoots pan out, quite funny. Also, I ate up my lipstick.
Outfit details – Dress from Zara, shoes from Steve Madden (similar), the earring is a gift from my mother and sunglasses are from Oakley.
I didn’t bother carrying a bag today. Just my keys and wallet which I left in my car. I rarely ever change my handbag when heading to work.
I bought this dress at least five months ago but I was surprised to find it in Zara’s current new collection. They also have a similar top which I adore.
Also, by the end of the day I remembered why my shoe stays at the back of the cupboard. It has nothing to do with the rains. They bite. Don’t I look happy in the sunshine?
