(This one has the more fun coats anyway). But be sure to read the other post which will help explain why I chose the coats I chose. Now lets chat about sensible winter coats.
(Faux) Fur Collars
I liked these two faux fur collar casual coats. I would, of course, prefer the Zara one in the interesting colour although the brown one is from Oasis and a perfect colour of winter – its 70% wool.

This one is also available in black in case a more basic colour is required. A really formal coat with the fur collar is this H&M one which comes at the fantastic price of £60.

Workwear
Of course, most of the coats on this list are perfect for workwear already and a separate category was hardly required. However, I think a slightly longer one (knee or a little below) is more formal and great for office. Some good basic options are these below.

Pastels and lights
I will now move on to pastels and the light colours. I was quite surprised to find so many. Really, there is no excuse to continue wearing a black coat. Of course, ASOS came to the rescue. Pastel blue, soft pink and mink.

Winter colours – oxblood and army green
So other than camel, oxblood and army green have been the most popular colours this winter – and my current favourites. The first two coats are from ASOS and last one is Dorothy Perkins Dark Green Boyfriend Coat.

Patterns and prints
Patterns and prints are difficult to find in serious (meaning actual warm, wool) coats. This animal print one is also from ASOS and so is the grey ombre one.

Textured
Most faux fur coats and jackets are made of synthetic materials so when you find one made of wool, its great.
