First of all, a very happy new year. I know, I know this is a little late coming – are you even supposed to wish someone happy new year in the second week of January? Anyway, better late than never I guess.
You may have noticed that we have not exactly been very proactive with the blog lately and I hope you have missed us. There are some changes coming up on the blog and we wanted to start off by talking about this.
I am quite upbeat and really looking forward to covering a lot of stuff on the blog this year. All three of us have been having long discussions about what we want to do with the blog.
We have discussed how much time we can spend working on it and so on. I don’t want to bore our readers with these details but the end result is that you have to deal with me more than you deal with either Bidisha or Satarupa going forward. They are both extremely busy so have decided that they might need to take a little step back from the blog and concentrate on their work.
As for me, I am quite excited about 2019 in general and the blog in particular. I really needed some downtime and the rest days I got between Christmas and New Year have really cheered me up and recharged me. I have so many ideas for the blog this new year!
So you can expect to see a post every Monday. I have been debating and going back and forth on whether to actually come right out and say this since its making me very superstitious – what if my computer explodes on Sunday night? But as readers I want you to have some expectations from us so please look out for a new post every Monday morning! The second thing is that I will definitely be focusing more on travel, fashion, beauty and home decor since those are my main interests and I have so many thing I want to discuss on those topics. I will probably not be writing too much about food – honestly, its not something I have a lot of interest or knowledge on.
Outfit details: Leopard print wrap skirt, white tee (worn in this post), black faux leather jacket, Adidas Stan Smith, baker boy hat and Chanel Boybag (beautiful colour!).
The next few posts are going to be a lot about planning and new year resolutions and goals so hopefully reading about this should keep you motivated as well. Please let me know more about your experiences to motivate me! The best of all – I am off to India end of this month and cannot wait. Hope you have had a good start to the new year and I will see you guys next week.
In the meantime, you will find us on Twitter, Facebook and of course, Instagram. Thank you for reading.
