Yes, its getting tedious but I have to count my blessings. As long as I have food, water, books and DJ (and cake!) around I can hardly complain. I thought it would be nice to share some photos from our home during this lockdown while you stay at home.

Work from Home
DJ got himself this table but I have been using it everyday. This was definitely the best work from home buy!

Taking joy from small pleasures – it seemed like these flowers bloomed in like a day!

Make Weekends Special
I made sure you have a special Sunday evening. I sat down to watch some of my favourite Youtuber with some spicy Indian snacks and a cold coffee. Its always great to have something to look forward to and is my self care.

Reading
In the afternoon I move to the bedroom to enjoy the sunshine that comes in. Reading in bed with the sun on your face – is there anything better?

Exercise
We have been going to the park to exercise everyday. Honestly, our flat is so tiny we can’t really exercise too intensely in it. I need to do some exercise to manage the general stress and ensure I am tired enough to sleep.

Routine
We make sure to have a different routine during the weekend. We spend Saturday night having some drinks in front of the computer, chatting on video with friends and that has become something I look forward to just like I would have looked forward to every normal weekend.

I hope you guys enjoyed with simple post and everyone had a good weekend. I would love to know how you guys have ensured you have things to look forward to. Its really important to make plans, demarcate your work space and space for rest as well as your working day and have plans you look forward to during the weekend. They don’t need it be elaborate but as you can see, just the thought of sitting down with coffee and snacks to watch some videos make me so happy.

Take care you guys and please keep in touch and most importantly, STAY HOME. You can see many more photos on our Instagram and Facebook, so make sure you are folloowing us.

Nice post.
Going to a park for exercise is really a good stress buster. Though here in India, we are not allowed to go out due to lockdown but still, I try to get some time to do some Yoga at home 🙂
Honestly, we are quite surprised why we are being allowed out and are trying not to go out everyday. We only go when its empty and trying to work out at home. Please take care! Yoga is amazing!
Speaking of lockdown, six months are over and no idea when things will improve. I so miss my cappuccinos from the neighbourhood cafe.
Oh yes. Its the most simple things I miss the most!
