So skater skirts were super popular last year. I decided to get one, and for some reason decided a faux leather one would be the way to go. Unfortunately, I have only managed to wear it once so far. Not that it is a particularly difficult item to create an outfit with, my problem lies in finding a suitable occasion to wear it to. Definitely cant wear it to work, seems too dressy to wear while going out to do general chores, and I have way too many dresses I need to wear first for me to wear it to a dinner/party etc. Nevertheless, I clung to the hope that one day such an occasion would present itself where this skater skirt would be appropriate. And lo and behold, it did – a bachelorette party!! I was finally able to wear my beloved skater skirt, and it ended up being an extremely fun night!

I love skater skirt but unfortunately just have one piece in my closet. I like to wear it in soo many ways, from casual to preppy (and you an find one in my blog).
I hope I have one leather skirt like you, and I think it is so versatile. Wear it with plain white shirt and statement necklace can give you smart cool look. And if you wanna look little rebel, you can add ripped pantyhose and black chunky boots. Haha. Its just my opinion. You can try that or just forget it. 🙂
