Hermes Constance: Street and Highstreet

9 March 2016 · 1 Comment

I am quite bag obsessed. I recognise bags by name, know which one in the high street is a copy of which designer bag, know which colours and leathers a bag comes in and so on. It would be something to be proud of if it wasn’t so creepy.

I thought I might as well put all of this useless information to somewhat good use. So I decided to compile a series of posts which might help someone lusting after the designer bags to feel better – you don’t have to look for the copies since I have already done the work! Lets start out with the Hermes Constance.

Hermes Constance copies

I love this bag – its so basic, so classy. Its the perfect cross body bag. Of course, the big H buckle really helps too.

  1. Mango Croc Effect Bag
  2. Hermes Vintage Micro Constance Bag
  3. Mango Flap Cross Body Bag

Its pretty strange that Mango has two bags which are copies of the Hermes one. The last one is especially blatant! But I definitely like the look of it. Also, like the navy blue colour – easy to wear but slightly more interesting than your basic black. The original Hermes one is definitely a more squarish shape compared to the other two.

However, I did want to make something very clear. These bags are copies of the Hermes Constance. You will get many fake bags as well, including ones for the Hermes Constance complete with a fake H buckle (along with various Chanels, Diors, etc.). These are exact replicas of designer bags, made from cheap materials, in dubious sweatshops all over the world but mainly in Asia. Of course, most people would never think this can even be possible but it is these fake designer bags that help fund terrorism, human trafficking and illegal arms. I request you to please ensure and make sure you either buy your designer goods from the brand stores, or from legitimate second hand websites, or buy these high street copies. Please, please DO NOT buy fake designer bags. You would much rather buy the high street copies.

Now to onto happier things – let me know if there is a particular bag you want me to check up on? I will be covering most of the popular bags. And if you need any more information on fake bags and copy bags, please leave comments and I will do my best to answer them.

Happy shopping!
