The end of the year started with me signing on to be the stylist for the Mtv India RoadiesX2. Getting to style Rannvijay Singh Singha, BaniJ and Karan Kundra is a treat in itself.
I wanted to give you some insight into my work with a brief about a typical day on set:
Waking up at 4.30 AM and getting ready in 7 degrees temperature feels like I am auditioning for Roadies myself. 🙂
Then heading to each of the boys’ rooms in turn to (not give them clothes as you would imagine) first, baby talk them into getting up, then ordering coffee so that they stay awake and eventually convincing them to finally wear the clothes laid out! Then cut to all of us walking out looking dapper!
On the other hand the apple of my eye, BaniJ sits in her room all ready and waiting patiently.
My journey for RoadiesX2 started with me shopping for the actors’ outfits in Mumbai, to begin shooting in Pune. The stores I usually shop from are Zara, Celio, Ed Hardy, Jack & Jones, Forever21, Aldo , Crash Boom Bang, Hues and Kooves. Then from Pune we go to Delhi, then to Kolkata and then Chandigarh and now after the wrap we happily headed back to Mumbai. Where at last the temperature is not crazy, my teeth have stopped chattering and I finally sound like my own self!
Now coming back to the clothes! Here are some pictures of the three, even before the auditions have aired on television!
