Black and White with Limeroad #OOTD

Happy new year everyone! As you might have noticed we’ve changed the look of our site! We have been working on it for a while now and are really excited to finally be able to make it live. How do you like it so far? It still has a few kinks so we would really appreciate it if you could let us know if you see something that doesn’t look right. And of course do let us know what you like or don’t like about our new look 🙂

Okay moving on now. I attended the recent Limeroad event held here in Bangalore. It was my first sort of ‘official’ blogger event, and I honestly did not know what to expect. But it was actually a very fun experience. It was especially amazing to meet all the other fashion bloggers there,which was definitely the highlight of the evening for me. I had no idea the blogging community  here in Bangalore was so big. Everyone was really friendly and sweet, introducing me ‘the newbie’ to everyone else there.

I loved how this black and white look turned out. It was pretty chilly so the jacket was a necessity, and I really enjoy the oversized slouchy vibe to it. The statement necklace jazzed up my plain white tshirt, and faux leather pants and boots completed my look. I’m really into the clean, simple and chic black and white trend recently, as is apparent from most of my home decor 🙂

I really enjoyed myself at my first official blogger event. I was a little hesitant as I’m not very good or experienced at the very essential networking aspect of these events, but everyone was so friendly there that it felt like I’ve know them for years. The wine helped as well I’m sure 😛

And it was fun to finally meet the women behind the blogs we follow, and in some cases we’ve even collaborated with! If you remember, one of our first guest posts was with Krupa and I actually met her there! Definitely looking forward to attending more of these things.
