A Walk In the Rain: #OOTD 

Looks like the writers block is doing the rounds. When I sat down to write something about this day I drew an absolute blank. I remember how it started. It was a Sunday and seemed like a perfectly sunny day, so we decided to go out for lunch, walk around maybe even do some shopping. The perfect day to wear my new shoes! Also a casual day out so denim seemed appropriate, and I decided to pair it with this cute pink top to match my heels.

All fun and games till it started raining like crazy. Like literally one second we’re walking in a park looking at people having picnics and such and the next second everyones running for cover. Not such a great day to bust out the new heels after all. It is not easy running in these shoes, but I found out that day I seem to have a talent for it. Or maybe it was the fear of getting my hair wet, I had spent 30 mins on it in the morning after all. Somehow we managed to find a covered area and take refuge from the rain.

It stopped as suddenly as it started about 15 minutes later, and it left everything green around us looking greener and the ground definitely not suitable for walking in heels. But it was still a fun day. I had fun trying to walk and not fall flat on my face, and it taught me to check the weather forecast before choosing my shoes for the day 😀

It was quite nice actually strolling through the park after the rains, even though the sun came out immediately after like it wasn’t just pouring cats and dogs 10 minutes ago, it was still quite cool and pleasant. By the time we got home, my shoes needed a thorough cleaning, and there were patches of mud on my jeans. But we got some good pictures for an OOTD with this cute top and pink lipstick and that’s what really matters 😛 Till next time!
