I jumped on the tall boots trend quite soon. Atleast relatively soon. This was also helped in part by the fact my old boots completely gave up on me and it was so cold the idea of wearing boots tall enough that they made trousers optional sounded great.

Of course, there are problems with tall boots. Short girls like me are not supposed to be wear tall boots. But according to fashion, short girls like me are not supposed to be wearing almost anything fashionable so what can you do? Wear whatever you want, skip the rest is pretty much my motto.

I have been wearing this jumper almost all the time. I have to admit its not very flattering but its so comfy!

Outfit details: striped jumper from New Look, hat from Spitalfields market, grey denim leggings from Jack & Jones, knee boots from Charles & Keith (similar), pendant from Anthropologie and lipstick is MAC Candy Yum Yum.
Of course there are some really expensive boots out there but for a style like this – lets face it, high boots like these are not exactly classics – a high street option is the best. I made DJ get mine from the Singapore Charles & Keith store. This is definitely my favourite shoe brand. This is one brand I highly recommend for anyone starting out wearing heels – their heels are the best! I am pretty annoyed you cannot get them in London.

So have you taken the plunge and made the move to tall boots? Or how tall is the tallest you will go? It might sound strange but now is a good time for a boot buy since winter is almost over (fingers crossed). These are three I liked – all of these are now on sale!

I’m not a fan of tall boots, I think thigh high ones in particular look like bandages. I used to have a pair of tall boots in uni but that was a long time ago and I’m not going back to it anytime soon
Haha! Ok Selina – I know exactly what you mean. I think honestly the grey ones really remind me of a cast so I tend to stick to black. But I do love them – they are so cosy when its cold! As long as you have tried it before rejecting it, its good enough!
Love it!!! They look great on you 😉
