The summer continues and so does my love for maxi dresses. Now you might have seen my last summer outfit which also happened to be a maxi dress. Well this one is as different from that as possible. For starters, its pastel – a lovely shade of mint in a floral print. It’s made from a soft linen & cotton blend fabric that I absolutely adore and had to own as soon as I saw it in the store.
It’s kinda similar to this other mint dress I own, but I think I might like this one better just for the fabric. I happen to have these stone earrings that are in the exact same colors as the print in the dress! As I was getting ready to go out for lunch and knew I would be out till late in the evening, I decided to pile on some gold jewellery as well. I was initially going to wear a belt with this but at the last moment decided against it. What do you think, should I have gone with the belt?
Cotton and linen dresses are a godsend in this weather. I’m really enjoying wearing them but I feel like I’m reaching the point where I need to stop buying any more. I am however on the lookout now for formal or office wear in linen or more breathable fabrics that I can actually wear to work.
