My friend, Duygu is my go-to person for all the crazy fashion obsessive stuff I want to do (including manic window shopping). And there is a reason for that. This is what she dresses like on a normal work day. I love her trendy workwear!
Yeah. Not your standard suit. And btw, she works in a law firm – as ‘suity’ as it gets. She is basically my living motivation to adhere to the ‘formal need not be boring’ mantra.
Her style is a lot more feminine and polished than mine – very Olivia Palermo. What I absolutely love (and which is very different from me since I am so lazy) about her style is how careful she is about details – even with the minimal, delicate jewelry she prefers. However, at the same time, she buys very classic pieces which stand the test of time. For instance, the cardigan is about 6 years old. Beautiful lace, perfect condition.
