Cosy Nooks and Crannies of Bologna, Italy

15 August 2023 · 2 Comments

I was recently listening to a podcast and it was mentioned how sometimes its lovely to just to scroll though some nice photos and that can be a blog post. This is something I forget and find a hard time to wrap my head around. I feel every time I write a post it needs to be something with a head and a tail and a story. But sometimes, I do like to just scroll through some pictures when reading (or writing) feels too intense. I took some lovely pictures in Bologna, Italy and it’s a lovely city. But I don’t have a list of things for you to do there – the best thing to do there is nothing. Eat gelato, eat some amazing food and just walk around. So originally I hadn’t thought of doing a post for Bologna but you know what, it’s a beautiful town and I would love for you guys to see these photos. Personally, I am getting through this hard Monday by imagining myself sitting at that table and drinking some Aperol spritz!

Porticos of Bologna, Italy

I didn’t know this till we actually got to Bologna but the porticos of Bologna (these covered pavements that are found all throughout the town) are thousands of year old. In the heat they were a relief to walk under.

Also, without a doubt, Bologna had the best food we had eaten in Italy.

Also make sure to check out my Venice and Cinque Terre posts – Italy is a gorgeous country and every part of it is different so its great to see different parts of it. It totally reminds me of India in that way.

I will end this short post with some unasked for advice – I hope you are enjoying the summer but also taking care to wear sunscreen everyday! So have you been to Bologna, Italy or Italy in general? Is it on your bucket list? If yes, which part? My travel posts maybe less in number since my summer travel is done for now. I will still write some travel posts but if there is someting you want to me write about all you need to do is let me know! Let us know in the comments  on Twitter, Facebookand of course, Instagram. Thank you for reading.
