I had my graduation ceremony this week and it was great fun!
I wore a sleeveless skater dress with a cream full sleeve button down shirt underneath with some basic black suede pumps. I added a skinny belt – this dress definitely needed a belt. I am sorry – I was a really bad model for this photo even though my friend tried really hard to make it better!
Mango white button down shirt and black blazer, Black sleeveless skater dress with ASOS lace skinny belt, Primark suede pointed kitten heeled pumps and MAC Ruby Woo lipstick.
A thin button down shirt is a good layering item under dresses to help with cold weather or make the look more formal. It actually also works pretty well with strapless dresses too.
I did think of wearing a sari but sadly, London weather in December did not encourage me to go through with this plan.
Of course, I did have the chance to wear something a little grander than a black dress. 🙂
