You know those days in early spring you see the sun and think summer is here and wear your cool spring tee (black CAN be a spring tee) and jeans with barely there sandals? Remember those days? And remember freezing 10 minutes later?
Yeah. 🙁
Outfit details: blue ripped jeans (very old, unbranded), split back tee from Zara, strappy sandals from H&M, baker boy hat from Amazon and fringe cross body bag by Yves Saint Laurent on loan from Farfetch.
So this is frozen me.
I wanted to talk about these jeans. I have had these jeans since college. They were hand-me-ups (?) from Bidisha. I love love love these jeans! I think they were darker blue once upon a time. They were also non-ripped. I love the fact that in this day and age of buying jeans that are already ripped, these are the original ripped jeans! I have altered them about a zillion times. I think they were actually slightly flared at one point of time but I got them straightened up. This is a good way to recycle your old jeans instead of buying new ones all the time. Maybe more on that later.
And how could I not talk about this Yves Saint Laurent bag? Its a fantastic cross body with fringe along the top flap. Its gorgeous. And I am completely obsessed with silver or oxidised hardware. I loved the hardware on this one, especially as seen on the YSL lettering. But this is a bag for basics – it holds your lipstick, phone, cards and keys and not much else. Although I’ll be the first to say thats pretty much all you need.
You will see our blog might be preparing for summer although London doesn’t look like it is so its a trip to a museum may not be a bad plan. I have to admit though black and white are still my favourite colours for summer!
