This was definitely not the most timely buy – just when we are approaching summer I decided to buy myself a tweed blazer. This blazer has been on my shopping list for a very long time (along with a navy blue blazer with gold buttons which I am yet to commit to) and I finally gave in.
I took the chance to skip my coat and just wore the tweed blazer belted. Although, it might be a tricky one to wear with a fitted coat on top but thats a problem for next winter to deal with.
I love mixing textures so went all out on the texture department with my leather trousers.
The fear with buying an item out of season is the fact it will look dated by the time the season for wearing the item actually rolls around. I figured this was less of a problem with a tweed blazer like this. Its been around for a few hundred years, I guess it will survive this summer.
Outfit details: tweed jacket / cross-body bag / leather trousers / chunky loafers/ gold bucket belt.
