After promising myself I am not going to fall for this major quarantine trend and buy any workout equipment and be that sucker, I bought a bit of workout equipment. Honestly, its not a lot but its enough workout equipment to make it work and make it interesting. Lets go through it and figure out what I recommend and what I don’t.

All the pictures were taken on our walk to Hyde Park yesterday. Please take a look at my Instagram as well as stories where I posted more pictures and videos from our day out. All comments, likes and follows are so appreciated so please come say hi!
Bala weights
Disclaimer: I haven’t actually received these yet and haven’t used them yet. So I don’t want to recommend these but I want to run through why I bit the bullet and bought them.
You guys remember me talking about the low intensity workouts I started doing recently. I started doing these workouts in May and by now I feel have gotten into the swing of it. I am really enjoying it and wanted to basically ‘up my game’. (These are 1 pound weights so I know ‘up my game’ is laughable but please don’t laugh!) I looked around for weights I can use as ankle weights and on my arms.

I found some in Adidas and Reebok but read pretty bad reviews for these. Most people said how the weights fell off while in use so this was not encouraging. I found the Bala weights and totally fell for their very Instagrammable design and cute story. And realistically, I like the way these can be used as ankle and hand weights which sold me on it.
If you are interested let me know and I will update or provide a more detailed review once I receive them.

Outfit details: Lululemon leggings, black tank, white cropped layering piece, white sneakers, Raybans and picnic blanket (similar).
Lululemon leggings
Even after all the fancy Instagram leggings brands that I see around me, I am still stuck to Lululemon. At the end of the day, these are the leggings that last me the longest, look great and are the most comfortable for me. I have two pairs of their leggings and wear them constantly.
I never thought I would be this person wearing leggings all the time. But since we have been walking everywhere to avoid taking public transport and wearing leggings has been so comfortable. Oh yeah, I even run or do yoga in them.

Yoga mat
This is definitely the best home workout equipment buy in my case. This one is a little expensive but I was quite certain I wanted it. This is the same kind of mat I used in my yoga studio that I used to go to so I was happy with the quality. Its the perfect thickness – not too thick and not too thin. Now you would think that a thick mat would be the most comfortable but I find they are not the best for balance. You need the perfect thickness. And the most important thing for me – my hands and feet are super sweaty (sorry for the TMI!) – so I like the mat since its so anti-slip. Best part is this is made of very good quality sustainable rubber and recycled materials.

I hope to see you on our Instagram – make sure also to check out our stories! It’s so much fun! We are trying to grow our Instagram following so if you enjoy any of our posts and like our photos any likes and follows are much appreciated.

Have a good week everyone!
