So Guess What – I Was In An HP Advertisement….

You know when you are in between jobs? You relax, read books, wake up at noon, watch Netflix box sets by the box sets, go to museums in the middle of the working day and so on – right? So way back in July or so thats what I was doing. But then I decided this wasn’t an optimum use of my time. End result – I was in a HP advertisement. 🙂

This was a super fun day! There were ten of us sitting around in this lovely room chatting (and eating!) and there was a studio room further down where all the action was taking place. Except we didn’t really know what the action was! We were given specific time slots and were taken aside 5 minutes before our time slot and told what we actually needed to do. Can you guess what that was? Take a look at the video and it should be clear!

In case it still isn’t clear, we were shown a series of pages being printed out of the HP Page Wide Technology Printers. There were pictures on the pages of random items – an HP laptop, a key chain, a pen, a beachball and so on. Once the pages are printed out, you try and remember the items shown and name them correctly from memory. (I know you are thinking any idiot could do this but may I mention that the printer was printing out those pages really fast – 75 per minute to be exact – and it was a lot of pressure so I didn’t get the beachball after all…)

But thats not all. There is another video. Of only me. Bumbling along obsessing over sunscreen. (Of all the fancy stuff pictured why was I so obsessed with the sunscreen?)
