I was scrolling through the pictures on my phone and realised how much wear I have managed to get out of this Sezane jacket. Its become my spring and autumn jacket and a part of my weekend uniform as well as workwear. This is the Will jacket and comes in a variety of colours and patterns (like this camel one) – denim, linen, cotton, khaki and the one I have, wool. Its from an old collection and I wanted it for quite sometime. I liked the combination of the casual and formal outfits it manages to work with. The houndstooth and wool feels formal and the fit and ‘shacket’ vibe feels casual. This with my various new jeans has become my weekend uniform for spring/ late winter.
Paired this with my grey Mango straight jeans, my Chelsea boots (similar) and Chanel boy bag. These jeans are too long except when I wear them with these boots – and this seems to work with each pair of jeans I own now. How do people make it work? Do you have different pairs of jeans you wear with specific pairs of shoes and nothing else? Am I over thinking jeans? Tell me how it works you jeans people!

And I wanted to address the second hand jacket point. Sezane wears well and is pretty good quality so I am quite happy to buy Sezane second hand. Also I am not a mega fan who can get on their website on collection drop days and so on since first, I am lazy, and second, I am never an early trend adopter so I like hunting out the second hand finds when a style grows on me. This outfit was an exception only because I knew I would get a lot of wear of it.

So these jeans present the same problem. I don’t think the length works with these sneakers actually – it bunches up. These jeans only work with heels and I am going these to leave for heels next time since I don’t want to shorten them.

I hope you appreciate the matchy-matchy pattern on the hairband and the jumper I am wearing.

This one is a lot of Sezane here – I am wearing the Will jacket and the Betty cardigan. These jeans are Reformation as well. Now I am seriously hoping this is the last of it and my weekend uniform can move onto shorts like the rest of the civilised world but who knows.

See you next week! I promise there will be no more Sezane and will be a little bit of home decor instead.
