Since I recently started working again, workwear has been on my mind. This is definitely one of the simplest, cleanest workwear styles I could think of. Especially like that much needed pop of colour.
Marks and Spencer lace pencil skirt (similar), Vero Moda white shirt (similar), Mango black blazer (similar), lace satchel bag and Zara red pumps (similar).

I think I need to wear a shorter blazer with this skirt. Lets see if I find one. Also, would you wear red shoes to the office? I would suggest trying a darker red first.

Yes! This blazer is definitely not meant for skirts. But the problem with the shorter blazers are they usually give off this ‘old lady’ vibe! I don’t know why it seems like that to me. Or they are peplum. Which I hate. I need to look around…
who! not at all Anisha! i LOVE short blazers – but they have to be very fitting 🙂 H&M short ones usually fit very well for us petit size, and its easy to wear them with pants, jeans, anything as long as its snug at the waist 😉 i’m curious what kind of short blazer you are referring to. and what is peplum?
I love H&M but they don’t make less than size 8 for a lot of the more formal clothing. So annoying! I love that you are asking peplum – I hate that trend. The frill at the waist on tops and jackets – everyone at work is wearing that! When I think of short blazers these short cardigan type ones come to mind – I think a jacket like you suggest makes more sense. I will be on the hunt!
