Bloganniversary – Fashion and Frappes is one!

Drumrollllll! We are one!

Ok we are actually late 20’s to early 30’s but Fashion and Frappes is now one!

Our first blog post went out last year on this day.

If you have been reading from the beginning – thank you so very much. And if you picked it up along the way, please go back and read our older posts and thank you for doing so!

We thought this would be an excellent time to celebrate our one year bloganniversary. This would also be a great time to tell you some news about the blog as well as a little bit more about our plans – what we hope to do with Fashion and Frappes going forward and what you can expect from us.

We just got our first set of business cards made!

We have been going to a lot of events lately and finally decided it was time Fashion and Frappes got its own business cards. We, of course, have our own individual business cards as well. We were quite fixated on the gold scrawling writing and decided to keep everything else plain and simple. Hope you liked them!

In other news, we are definitely looking to redesign Fashion and Frappes the blog to make it easier to read and easier to find posts. Not to bore you with the technical details but we are looking to move to self-hosting which will give us better control of the blog and its layout. Don’t worry about adjusting to a new design – none of this is going to happen anytime soon but we do hope to make the transition to self-hosting sooner rather than later.

I hope everyone is either vacationing or is back at work with some great vacation memories or looking forward to making some great vacation memories! We are all looking forward to some fun city breaks and sunny beach holidays so you can be rest assured there are a number of travel posts coming up. If you are still looking for ideas for vacations, look no further. Satarupa will be a little MIA (aka missing in action) for a month or so while she sorts through work and house admin but hopefully, will be back with more posts like the ultimate lipstick post (this is not what the post was called but has now been renamed by readers as such!) which unsurprisingly has been our most popular post ever!

For fashion, we will definitely be concentrating on the Trend Try posts. There are a lot of short series coming up as well – one concentrating on workwear and one on outfit inspiration and we hope you will enjoy them both. We are also very excited about the Five Things series which will lead to a lot more decor and interior design posts on the blog. And we have been ignoring our coffee posts – we promise that won’t happen for long!

And as always, we are more than happy to hear your opinions, comments and suggestions – it helps us steer in the right direction!
