My year started of with a trip to London. It was two weeks of pure bliss. Since Anisha and DJ were both quite busy with work and only got off on Sundays. I spent my days drinking hot-chocolate, walking down the tower bridge, eating in Nando’s and shopping at Oxford Street.

Let me not forget to mention that one day I took the train and went down to King Cross station to have a look at the platform 9 and 3/4 of The Harry Potter book! Yes, I remembered this because of Anisha’s glasses.

Outfit details : Anisha’s sweatshirt is from Mexico, skirt is Bershka (similar), boots are H&M (similar), sunglass is Topshop and bag is Chanel. On me: My muffler is Forever New, sweater is Zara, skirt is Stradivarius, boots are Mango and bag from Poland.
My last Sunday there, was my most favourite of all days. The week had been quite dreary weather wise, not only was it freezing cold there was also a snow storm and it rained all day. I was happy to wake up to some sunlight. Anisha looked absolutely thrilled.

I also managed to do a fair bit of sisterly nonsense that I absolutely miss! Annoying her must have been one of my best ways to spend Sundays when we lived together in Mumbai. Untying her boot laces topped the list 😛

It was DJ’s idea that we head to Ping Pong and have the all you can eat Sunday buffet and that is exactly what we did. On the way to the restaurant we clicked some great pictures and I absolutely adore them.

We walked down from home crossing the London bridge, down to the dockyard where the restaurants were.

By the time we reached it was almost 2 pm and we sat eating till 6.30 pm! Between three of we ordered everything on their menu and then some more!

A walk back to the house is what we needed. By the evening it was quite cold and even with all my layers I couldn’t wait to get home and sit down with a mug of hot coffee.

Aww! Thanks so much. It does make you do that!
Love London… when we were there it was raining like hell and we missed visiting so many places 🙁
So thats London for you! But you should have just carried on – it rains almost all the time but its very less intensity rain. Nothing that usually stops yo from doing anything!
