I will be going to London to spend some quality time with the sister and over excitedly I started packing ten days in advance. Right now my soft suitcases look like two sausage rolls. Unsure of London weather I started packing my burly jackets (I have a tendency to feel cold). I was then laughingly told I just need a light winter wear. Of course, being from Bombay I have one jacket and nothing called ‘light winter wear’. After putting in some clothes, taking some out, putting some others in I was finally done.
The end result was the following:
Black ripped jeans, camouflage and mint green trousers, my favourite leather leggings, denim and other summer dresses, tops, shirts, and was told to carry shorts too, so also shorts. My black leather jacket and my brown leather boots went in as well since Mumbai doesn’t give me a chance to wear them ever. Some other things, most of which I’m sure I won’t end up wearing but do not have the heart to leave behind. Last and the most important – my Nikes and fun collection of socks!
I can now say my bags are packed and I’m ready to go.
