Thanks to some very generous friends, I had the chance to have a beautiful lunch at the restaurant at the Ritz hotel. I had gone with every intention of taking pictures of the hotel itself (which, needless to say, is lovely) but got really distracted once the food came. And once you see the pictures you will know why.
(Suggestion: have a big meal before scrolling down to the pictures. This will make you very hungry.)

Mackerel – beetroot, horseradish and citrus
Sea Trout – cauliflower, leeks and champagne
Navarin of Lamb – caramelised shallots, peas and broad beans
Raspberry mini muffin (with a vanilla macaroon peeking behind)
Lemon Mousse – chamomile and meringue
Apricot souffle – with almond ice-cream
Chocolates, vanilla macaroons, (not sure but was yummy) and raspberry mini muffins
Fancy dining Ritz London – highly recommended!
