There cannot be a more quintessential Havana scene than this picture of one of the candy coloured classic cars. This picture summed up the trip and Havana for me. There is a vibe in that city which just can’t be explained or at least I am not doing a good job explaining it. Its a combination of nostalgia, spontaneity and laziness and its a beautiful feeling. I am not a car buff by any standards but these pictures are not about automobiles – these pictures are about travel, fun and most importantly, style.

Make sure you peer in and notice the Chanel inter-locked C symbol on this car (its clearer in this picture). There were a fleet of these classic cars used as a part of the Chanel fashion show and I spotted two of them. I was so excited!

I told DJ to take a picture of me so that it looks like I am driving the car. Unfortunately I didn’t think this through and you can obviously see the feet underneath the car!

I took this picture of DJ in Vinales – this is obviously not Havana.

I have absolutely no information or knowledge about the cars – I am sorry. If you do, let me know the details and I will add it with credit to you I promise!
I wrote another post about travelling to and in Cuba – make sure you take a look at that. I would recommend everyone to go! Just a hint – we have a whole travel section. And have you been checking out our Instagram yet? We end up posting pictures and videos almost everyday. If you are on Instagram please give us a follow and drop us a comment saying hi. I quite like some Instagram chatting in the middle of my work day – I mean who doesn’t?
