Yes, you read that right. I am cycling from London to Brighton with Live Unlimited, a charity that assists young carers. Please help out by making donations to them (sadly, no refunds on the donations if I don’t complete!) HERE.

I wanted to write a little about why I decided to do this. I have always enjoyed cycling and I have talked about my experience as a new cyclist in London. Once I got the hang of cycling on London streets I decided I needed to take it up a notch. I have always been a fitness goal person. I don’t really enjoy going to the gym but do love a fitness goal to aim towards. A few years ago it was going the Inca trail to Machu Picchu which really helped me keep my fitness on track. Of course, the pandemic and the lockdown hasn’t helped with the fitness motivation although I did try and keep myself busy with some workouts at home and thoroughly enjoyed them.
I do love active holidays. I have always wanted to cycle to Paris and through lavender fields in France – how gorgeous does that sound? So this cycle ride from London to Brighton is a planning stage for something like that – fingers crossed!

Any donations you give will be most gratefully received by me and everyone at Live Unlimited. Even if you can only spare £5 or £1 it is most welcome. You can donate here and any shares on social media or IRL are much appreciated!
