I love minimalist brand Mansur Gavriel and thought its time we did a street to high street post for shoes instead of bags! Lets get to it.
I actually noticed this brand, Mansur Gavriel after seeing their super minimalist pop coloured bags. I hunted for the one I wanted for quite sometime and didn’t find it in London. I then ended up buying a copy of the same bag from Zara. That was a bit of an anti-climax.
Anyway, after Mansur Gavriel started making these lovely solid coloured shoes I knew the high street copies were sure to come up soon. And here they are.
1. Zara Mule Sandals INR 1490 – I am not surprised Zara was so quick about this. But I am not too happy about the colour – I just have an aversion to this shade of brown (although I admit it can look good). They don’t seem to have these ones in other colours but lets wait for the next collection.
2. Mansur Gavriel Suede Mules $475 – I liked these practical yet fun low heeled mules. And they have some adorable colours. Except that they are in suede. And I live in London. 🙁
3. Mango Esparto Leather Sandals £19.99 – These Mango ones are a combination of mules and espadrilles of some sort. Personally I am not a fan of espadrilles but I can see myself wearing this semi espadrilles.
Are you tempted to pick up any of these shoes or any of these mules? They do look very chic but as usual I like the black ones and thats just too boring. So I am wondering if this is a shoe trend I should skip?
