I finally ordered this jacket. After waiting for months for the sale price. I mean, come on. Its a maroon faux fur full sleeve jacket. Doesn’t exactly fall under the category of wardrobe essentials. For anyone. But its beautiful! And so soft. And so warm.
Outfit details: H&M Oxblood Faux Fur jacket and White Turtleneck, Stradivarius Blue Jeans, ASOS Brown Skinny Belt, Alexander McQueen Scarf, Forever 21 Oxblood Shoes, Chanel Boy Bag and Mac Candy Yum Yum lipstick.
So I ended up going to the Fashions Finest fashion show last weekend and it was quite a lot of fun! So this was my fashion show look. Ok so I know I am wearing jeans but come on, it was a Sunday. I didn’t end up in the cold with a blanket is good enough. Although my jacket was almost as comfy as a duvet. So obviously since I was almost wearing a duvet and jeans, I thought its only decent that I put on some lipstick. And I love this colour! In case, I haven’t mentioned this before, I am not very good with makeup but I love lipstick – the brighter, the better. This is definitely as bright as it gets!
You can guess that I cut off the hem of the jeans myself to get this frayed look. It just looked way too prim and proper otherwise!

The outfit just doesn’t work. The jeans could work paired with a sweater or other plain long-sleeved shirt under a bold vest, and with a flat or high-heeled bold shoe. A simple leather jacket, regular jacket, or blazer would complete the look and make it chic. You could also keep the scarf or leave it off. Regarding the faux fur jacket I’d suggest going online and doing some research on different ways to pull it off and create a look-book for such pieces. I will give the look an “E” for effort.
