We are officially having the hottest summer ever in Bangalore. My survival strategy so far has been to stay within 10 feet of an air conditioning unit at all times. Also to avoid going out during the day as much as possible. However at times in order to prove to my near and dear ones that I am not in fact a vampire, I venture out while the sun is up and brave the blistering heat. For such occasions, t-shirt dresses are what I have been reaching for this summer.

I recently realized that I’ve amaased quite a number of these t-shirt dresses. I’m sure you’ll be seeing quite a few of them on the blog over the summer. They just seem like the most comfortable thing to throw on in this weather. That with my white sneakers has become my uniform of sorts lately. I normally don’t even bother with accessories with this outfit, but on this particular day I knew I would be meeting some friends for dinner later on so I added the statement necklace and decided to have some fun with some colorful eyeshadow.
What are your go to outfits this summer? Is it florals and prom dresses, or do you like these comfortable tshirt dresses like me? Even though I’m cribbing about how hot it is constantly, Bangalore is actually quite pretty right now with flowers blooming everywhere. They call it the Garden City of India you can see why right now, everywhere I look there are trees bursting with flowers and roads carpeted with fallen blooms. Absolutely beautiful and very useful for impromptu photo shoots 🙂

I love this entire outfit!I also like to wear t-shirt dresses but I haven’t tried it with some kicks! I feel as thought I won’t be able to pull it off! And you did a great job of pulling it off! I also favor maxi dresses in the summer because they’re so easy to wear and are long enough that you don’t have to worry about it being too short! Great post!
