Mtv Roadies Rising – Rannvijay’s Lookbook

Happy New Year! I think till January ends I will keep wishing everyone Happy New Year. Still getting used to writing 2017. As always my year starts with styling and travelling for my favourite shoot, Mtv Roadies of course, and my most favourite VJ/actor Rannvijay! My last outfit post for him was for Mtv Splitsvilla and now I have compiled his Roadies audition looks. We travelled around four cities and unlike every other year, this year has been quite warm so all my plans for warm jackets and scarves went out the window and got replaced with thin jackets, shrugs and t-shirts.

Outfit details : Jacket from Marks & Spencer, t-shirt is H&M, grey jeans from Zara, shoes Nike Air Jordans, white watch is Gshock and sunglass is Rannvijay’s own, hand and neck accessory from Koovs.

It is still difficult to get Rannvijay to stand and pose for me, if I’m lucky and take a good picture in the five minutes of him walking, running, fidgeting well great if not then just too bad I guess. That the reason why I’m missing one of his looks from the shoot. Well, I got few pictures from Yogesh the man behind his camera and I will be ever grateful to him.

Outfit details : Black t-shirt, jacket and jeans from Zara, cap and shoes are Air Jordans. (if you notice  his one shoe is red while the other black)

This was an all black look with a rebel of red in one shoe, just the one and a splash of mango orange in his cap. Quite wacky I thought. I love black and so does he so this was one of my most favourite outfit of his. He wore it during the Delhi auditions.

To be very honest I’m not a big fan of the colour brown at all, but this jacket was love at first sight. So simple, casual and the length was what I loved the most. My favourite part of his outfit is without any question, his shoes. These pictures were clicked on set on stage.

I think shoes are the most important part of an outfit, especially in menswear. They make or break a look. We made sure each pair complimented what he wore and Rannvijay’s shoe collection if you already didn’t know, is massive. Rann and I both are big fans of the camouflage print and we always manage to do few looks with it.

If you notice all his outfits are pretty much dark with a pop of colour from his shoes, watches and sometimes t-shirts, I love an outfit with a plan, does that sound weird? Our love for colours match or maybe its just in my head. I should ask him if black, grey and military green are his favourites too!

Long jackets are quite in trend and you will most definitely see a lot on him.
