March 20 was officially the first day of spring. What a let down.
I don’t know what it is like where you are but London is not looking like its doing spring this year. Its sunny sometimes but then still quite cold. The only way I can make myself feel better is by looking at spring fashion. Online window shopping always helps.
First, I present to you the perfect spring dress – slightly edgy but still light, airy and feminine. I am definitely going to be trying it out and I have my fingers crossed hoping it fits. (Update: yup – I went and got it).
Stradivarius Midi Crochet Dress
You can wear it with boots, slippers, flats and heels and I wore it in winter in Cuba. You can also wear it on a beach, for brunch and for dinner. In case it wasn’t already clear, I am in love with this dress. I also liked this gorgeous kaftan.
And this trench coat. I have been eyeing this trench for quite sometime. I have a love-hate relationship with trench coats and half the love comes from the fact that I could have never worn one in Bombay so it was a novelty item. But boring beige trenches with wrinkles? Ugh! I felt this was a dull enough colour to wear to work but still a little different. The perfect outerwear this spring.

Don’t get me wrong, I quite like the occasional gladiator sandals. But I was so bored of the obnoxious gladiators all around I decided to go the opposite way. This is the only way to wear black this spring.
I really want to know if you have been doing any spring shopping or what you have planned for spring fashion. I can live vicariously since I am done shopping for now!

Those Zara sandals are gorg. Sadly, we are going into winter in NZ!
Haha! This fashion season must be such a pain for you guys! But I always long for winter in summer and summer in winter. ☺️
Love those sandals, great picks!
Lovely picks. I love the black sandals. Would be my top choice. I also love florals and think they are perfect for spring.
