Autumn Layers and Socks With Loafers

10 October 2022 · Leave a Comment

Autumn is a weird time in London. Weather wise it lasts for a month or two but temperature wise its barely 10 days. Or less. Basically as per my scientific assessment, autumn is the time you can wear a leather jacket as your main warm layer. Of course, since its me, it has to be with a chunky jumper layered underneath.

Now thats quite a basic look for me especially I am wearing jeans. I am not really a jeans person. (But if you are and tired of the skinny jeans see this post). So I decided I needed to make this look a little more interesting (and lets be honest, I was a little cold) so added in the orange socks with the loafers. I want to be this person who wears socks with shoes as a regular thing since its so practical but I am not sure about the look.

Also, any thoughts on the jeans? I wonder if the length needs some fixing or does it need to be more tapered. I feel the jeans have loosened up a little

Outfits: Dark grey straight jeans with button fly, mock neck chunky striped jumper , leather jacket (Chanel quilting), black platform loafers, raffia tote bag, baker boy hat and white and tortoise shell sunglasses.

Lets see how long leather jacket layer weather lasts.
