Winter is usually for wearing dark colours. Especially for me who is happy to wear black winter or summer. But after a point of time the sea of black coats really does get quite dull so a promise I made to myself was to not buy another black coat. This beige coat was a result of that promise. It has definitely helped me up the winter fashion game.

I mostly end up wearing this coat with black but decided to forgo the black trousers for my white favourite white jeans instead. I loved how crisp it looks. Very casual chic if I may say so myself.

The monochrome layering on top is a great mix with the white. I am definitely going to try beige and white more often as a combination.

Its always a good idea to have a knit in the same colour as your coat. Its easy to combine with whatever bottoms you have. Its looks put together without much effort.

Now honestly, I do wish I hadn’t worn black shoes. I of course wish I had sneakers the exact colour of my coat which would have paired well. The black shoes are not a big problem but I do think they take away a little bit from the outfit. Oh well, we live and learn.

Have you heard my new podcast yet? Its called The Eat Watch and Binge Read Podcast and you can pretty much find it wherever you get podcasts including Spotify and the Apple podcast app. We talk about – as you can guess – food, tv, movies, books and a whole lot more.
