You must have already seen from Instagram (make sure you are following us by the way) that I am completely obsessed with these white jeans I bought recently. I don’t actually buy or wear a lot of jeans – I maybe have about 7 pairs some of which I have had for about 10 or so years. But most of these are a skinny fit so when I tried on these white ones and they fit me perfectly in waist and length (which by the way has never happened before) I knew I had to pick them up.
You would think white jeans are not as wearable but for someone with as many black tees as me, white jeans are perfect. I wore these cropped jeans and a cropped top in black and then tried it out with a normal black tee as well so I wanted to show of both versions of the outfit.
CROPPED TOP
As soon as I got the jeans, I thought up this outfit with the cropped top (which I also wore with a maxi skirt) and it looked as effortless as I expected it to be.
Another point to make: I always find a white bottom and black tee makes even a simple black and white more interesting compared to black jeans and a white tee. And you know this, all of us here are big fans of the black and white outfit – this is Bidisha, Satarupa and me.
Outfit details: white jeans (the ones I have worn are sold out but these ones and these are the same fit and cheaper!), black cropped top, black sandals (similar), black baseball cap (similar), blue shades (similar) and Chanel boy bag.
LONG TEE
I tried out almost the same outfit with my new Everlane black muscle tee as well since I know cropped is not everyone’s style. Quick word about the tee: it fit me so well and its super comfy. And most importantly, the armholes fit me and are not too big for me. Also, I have some shoes I got from Everlane so may end up doing a review post for the shoes as well and review Everlane as a brand as a whole.
Outfit details: black sleeveless tee (similar), black sandals (similar), bag (similar) and blue sunglasses (similar).
