Five Things

25 July 2016 · 2 Comments

We’re back with another installment of Five Things! I just got back from a  really short trip to Calcutta, and now all I can think about is the food. If you didn’t know already, our home town of Kolkata is famous for its food. If you ever happen to end up there, do try to eat as much as you possibly can. Forget about whatever diet you might be on and just try to hit as many amazing restaurants and eateries as you can fit in. Which is what I did, but now that I’m back in Bangalore I can’t help feeling that I could have done better. Another thought I’m having with some regularity is that I need to hit the gym asap.

hoogly boat ride

Heres me fake meditating on a boat ride on the famous Hooghly river in Kolkata. You can also kind of see the Hooghly Bridge in the background. I’ve lived there all my life, well at least till I was 18 and moved to go to college, but I’ve never taken a boat ride on the river. I can bet Anisha and Bidisha haven’t either. No clue why not, because it was so much fun! Definitely something to try if you’re ever in the city.

Another thing about Kolkata is that the weather isn’t the greatest. It can get pretty warm in the summer months. Which is also something Anisha has been dealing with, but only she’s in London. This just goes to show global warming will get you no matter where you are.

healthy snack cucumber

She and DJ very smartly cooled off snacking on some cucumber with black salt. This is literally one of the healthiest things you can eat during summer, as cucumbers are basically 80% water. To balance out all the healthy snacking we’ve been doing, heres something not so heathy. But so adorable that you won’t even care.

Choc_matchbox

Chocolate shaped like a vintage matchbox from Mr. Stanley’s! How cute is that? This would make literally the perfect gift for someone who loves chocolate. Which is probably everyone on this planet.

7PCS Cosmetic Make up Tool Brush Makeup Brush Eyeshadow Brush Set

I recently got this set of face and eye makeup brushes and I can’t get enough of them. They look amazing and are so soft and fluffy I’m almost afraid to use them. My favorite has to be the flat and blunt brush in the centre, which is the perfect contour brush.

Chambor_484

Chamber Extreme Wear Transferproof Liquid Lipstick in Shade 484

My love for lipsticks has been well documenter on the blog, but I feel like I have to mention this new liquid lipstick I’ve been obsessed with. Chambor has a ton of colors in this range, but this one has to be my absolute favorite. I literally wear it every single day and even plan my outfits around it. Also at least 5 people have asked me so far if I’m wearing the Kylie Jenner lip kit, when I’ve been wearing this shade. This is an almost identical dupe for True Brown K. This particular shade was really hard to get my hands on, it was sold out in every Chambor counter I tried. I finally managed to order one from Amazon. So definitely give this one a try if you can.

That’s it for this installment of Five Things. I love these posts as they serve as a kind of a recap of what we’ve been up to for the last couple of months. As always come say hi on our Twitter, we’re trying to get to a 1000 followers would really help us out if you could give us a follow🙂 Check out our Instagram and like our Facebook page! Till next time 🙂

The chocolate was provided to Fashion and Frappes as a sample. Yum.

You’re so lucky to get to travel, it looks like such a cultural immersion. Also the pic of the makeup brushes is so pretty and #instagrammable 🙂
