I am in Puducherry and loving it. If you guys follow Mtv Splitsvilla then you must already know that we have been shooting here for almost a month.
My dress and hat is from Forever21, bag is Forever New.
I flew to Puducherry on the 15th of May, promising everybody back home that I would be back on the 29th to bring in my birthday with them. Fingers crossed and owing to the fact that Rannvijay is fed up of the heat here, we are jet setting out of Puducherry first thing in the morning post our finale.
While I keep showing you pictures of the pretty place that I am at this very moment let me tell you a bit about me and my equation with birthdays. I love them! My birthday is my favourite day. Sorry if I sound 3 instead of 30, but thats how it is. Yes I’m turning 30! Lets start with the most important part of the day. It begins with me eating a piece of chocolate cake. (I specify chocolate cake so that anybody reading this and getting me one does not become too adventurous.) Along with that comes a party with my favourite people, gifts, good alcohol and even better food. Who cares what the number is, as my father says, it all comes down to how young you are at heart 🙂

All my girlfriends are turning or have already turned 30 this year. The funny thing is everyone prods you with the words ‘oh! The big thirty’! Let me tell you. It frankly does not matter. You eat what you always eat, you drink what you love and most importantly you wear whatever you want to wear.

If you are an ardent reader of our blog and have been following us you will notice that my sense of dressing or style has not changed over the years. I love dresses and always have, love all colours except brown since my childhood, live in denim shorts and tee shirts at home and I always accessorise. Now on the shoe front, sandals and slippers are my favourite but if I head out once in a while I would wear wedges. Dont get me wrong I love heels and have many but since I also love to dance in comfort, they usually get left behind.
I am back in my room and this is the view from my balcony. Just another day to go and I can sleep in my own bed!

Hey I made a huge deal out of turning 30 as well. Though mine was about 6 months ago. I agree that birthdays are meant to be celebrated and there is no shame in that whatsoever!!
